Message Looking for some info on degreeing camshafts, the JWT 400+ cams to be exact. These cams have a +4 E L/C so when I was degreeing them, I degreed to the camcard value of 119 E L/C... stock is 115. My question is should i have degreed to 115 in order to get the +4? I seem to be getting a good amount of light oil spray back into the intake runners and intake plenum and i recently blew a headgasket so I am doing a teardown and want to address what I can while im in there. I'd like to make sure my overlap is correct. I get decent vacuum at idle ~-9psi and i have no problem getting 15 psi by 4k RPM all the way into the mid 20 psi range at 6k RPM... What im trying to say here is that if I degreed the cams wrong, would I be able to get these values?

On a side note, what cams do you all recommend these days for 700hp builds with full breather mods and 3 inch exhaust and GTX turbos?

Thanks!
